Happy Halloween!

Hope everybody had a great Halloween. Mine was a bit of a bust! I took Jordan over to my brothers house to start the night with the few of the trick or treat houses that we were going to. Jordan wasn't feeling overly well so it was destined to be a quick night. Anyway we get over there and I start to snap pictures, anyone who knows me knows it goes with the territory. So as I'm snapping I keep getting this message that is coming across my screen. Listen no time for messages. Things are happening fast, I must capture this moment!!! I'll work the kinks out of everything later, right! Well.... that was until I realized the message was saying ...... NO CM CARD!!!! Rats, I could not believe it! So far from home and you would think that I would know better and REMEMBER to put the card back into my camera. Oh well maybe I will remember it next year!

Earlier in the day I did get to capture a few pictures of Jennifer and the boo crew from work. They won first place in the costume contest, yea!!!  Great outfits girls, ya'll looked awesome!

 

 

 

 

Heartthrob in Training

It's me again, checking back in after a whirlwind of a weekend. Here's a sneak peek of a session that I had on Saturday afternoon. Ok I've got to cleanse my soul. I've got a confession to make................I'm crushin on a 3 year old! Yes, yes it's true. He stole my heart in 3.5 seconds flat and never looked back. I can assure you that it's totally one sided. My sweet Husband isn't even jealous, not even one bit, cause he's not even giving me the time of day. Yeah ok, maybe I'm a little old for him, but really in today's world of Hugh Hefner and the girls next door, what's 40 years really????? Ok, ok, I can accept that maybe I'm too old for him and right now his heart belongs to Mama, as it should! I'll cope ...I'm ok.......really I am. Hey you know Landon.........I do have 2 granddaughters. Hum.......well they are mighty cute! We should talk.

Well without any more sillyness here's sweet Landon and his Mom, my very good friend, Nicole. Isn't he just the cutest? He has the most personality!!! Everyone I tell about Landon is now calling him the fish whisperer. While we were taking pictures Landon decided that he wanted to feed the fish in the pond. The fish were actually putting their faces out of the water and actually seemed to be talking to Landon. One fish even let him pet him, totally unbelievable!!!! Landon is an amazing kid to say the least. Nicole this is an ever so small sneak peek, there are sooooooooo many to go through!!! Hope you enjoy them. Senior Beauty

Meet Maggie. I met Maggie a couple of years ago while I was doing her older sisters Senior Pictures. Imagine my excitement when Maggies Mom contacted me about doing some pics for Maggie. I was excited to see her again. She is so beautiful!! Maggie I enjoyed our time together. You are an awesome model and I hope you like your pictures. Enjoy!

Welcome Baby Roberts

Please join me in welcoming Baby Roberts! This little punkin was so precious and totally alert through most of our session together. When I first arrived she was sound asleep, but once she knew I was there she was totally alert and soaking in everything that was going on. Sweet Baby Kate

Sweet Baby Kate is growing fast. She has the most expressive and gorgeous eyes and is all smiles. I had the pleasure of photographing Kate in an heirloom dress made for her by her Aunt. This dress is gorgeous! I have to say that her Aunt is an amazing seamstress and has done an exquisite job on this dress. I'm sure that Kate will cherish it for the rest of her life.

The most GORGEOUS green eyes!

I would like to introduce to everyone, Anna. Anna is a Senior in High School and will be graduating in just a few short months. I have to say that this little lady has the most gorgeous green eyes that I have ever seen, they are AMAZING!! Anna, I've lost count of how many people have commented on those eyes! You are a beautiful young lady.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day to do Anna's Senior pictures. A beautiful spring day, Eden was all in bloom and I had Anna, who is a natural, in front of my camera. She instantly bonded with the lens and boy does it show. With Mom and sister Erin on hand I was able to get all three in front of the camera and a few singles of sister Erin, too. I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful trio of ladies to photograph. Oh, and we can't forget little Tink, too!! She is also quite the model!! Everything just seemed to fall into place and I think the pictures show for it.

Belly Shots

In getting ready to welcome little baby Adrianna we had to do some belly shots to remember her by. Little Adrianna is growing like a weed and getting ready to make her debut in the world. In looking at these pictures I can't help but remember the way that Adriannas Mama looked the first day that I met her. The day that she walked into our families lives and hearts almost 14 years ago. Autumn and my daughter Holly met in Kindergarten and became instant soulmate friends. Every since she's been my daughter too, so now as you can see I'm soon to be a Maime to a new little bundle of joy, Baby Adrianna. The years have gone by in a flash and I welcome the chance to enjoy this new baby and watch as Autumn walks through the threshhold of being our little girl to being a Mom. The pride that we have in you Autumn can't be expressed adequately, nor can the love we hold for you! We love you sweetie!! So now we prepare to .........Welcome little Adrianna. What a sweet little pregnant belly!!!

Welcome Sweet Baby Kate

   Welcome sweet baby Kate, welcome! What a precious little one she is and definately a Daddy's girl! I have dreamed of having Kate in front of my lens since finding out she was to be. I feel so blessed to have finally gotten to do her pictures and I'd like to thank you both for allowing me to capture this precious moment in time.I hope to be able to watch Kate grow right before my lens! She has the most personality of any baby I've seen at this tender age and I don't mind saying that by the end of the day she had me pretty wrapped around her little finger. I'm sure everyone will agree she is some kind of precious!

Beauty Within

Have I ever told you how much I love to do portrait work? Love it! I love it, because I can take the time to laugh and cut up with my subject. Give them time to get used to the camera and let it become just an extension of my arm. After about 30 minutes the tension  of having a camera in their face just seems to fade away. For these two the magic happened when we walked outside. I have to tell you both, I love these pictures! It's easy for anybody to take a picture of your outer beauty, but these to me show just how beautiful you both are inside and out! They are you..............GORGEOUS!!
